For all scheduled classes and rehearsals, dancers are asked to follow the dress code outlined below. Proper dance attire helps instructors provide effective feedback and ensures a safe, focused learning environment.

Girls: Bodysuit, tights, black dance slippers, dance skirt or shorts

Boys: T-shirt, cotton pants without pockets, black dance slippers

Selkirk & District owns a vast wardrobe of regional costumes. All dancers will receive a costume from the school to wear at performances. A small costume fee is included with registration fees, and a costume damage deposit is required.

Dancers are expected to provide a few items of their own:

Girls: Embroidered Ukrainian blouse, white slip, red beads

Boys: Embroidered Ukrainian shirt
