For more than 50 years, Selkirk & District Ukrainian School of Dance has welcomed dancers of all ages into a vibrant, supportive environment rooted in Ukrainian culture. Our experienced faculty, strong community spirit, and year-round performance opportunities create a place where dancers grow in skill and confidence while building lasting connections.

Our team of seven instructors creates a supportive, energetic learning environment where dancers feel encouraged to grow and challenged to excel. Our faculty’s experience in Ukrainian dance and commitment to our community shape every step our dancers take.

Fialka dancers

Introducing Fialka

Fialka, which translates to Violet, is our audition-based ensemble for dedicated dancers ages 14 to 17 who are ready for additional challenge and performance experience. Led by Olivia Dubeski, the group rehearses weekly in East Selkirk. Dancers also have the opportunity to take a technique class on Monday evenings with Elena Modrzejewski.
